Congenital Cerebral Palsy
If your child has been diagnosed with congenital cerebral palsy, be aware that this is not a “type” of paralysis, but it is a term that means “birth defect.” In other words, your child’s doctor is saying he developed cerebral palsy during development. This is not a condition that his son inherited from you or your spouse or partner. And is not caused by a medical error.
